I Finally Made an Instagram for This (Yes, Really)

For a while now, this site and this blog have been the only place I've actually shared any of my work publicly - every project written up carefully, every post edited and considered before it goes live. That's been good for the portfolio. It's also meant a lot of the actual process never really made it anywhere.

The screenshots that don't make the final case study. The moment a design decision clicked into place. The small stuff that happens between "started the project" and "here's the polished result" on my Work page.

So, I made an Instagram.

What's actually going there

Not a copy of this blog, and not a highlight reel of only the good parts. The plan is closer to a working notebook - real project breakdowns, the six things I think genuinely make working with me different from hiring an agency, and probably some behind-the-scenes chaos that never survives the edit down to a polished case study.

If you've read anything on this blog - the pricing post, the red flags post, the trekking industry one - the account is written in exactly that same voice. Just faster, more visual, and a lot less formal.

Why now

Honestly, eight completed projects felt like the right point to actually start building something outside of just this website. Referrals and word of mouth have carried things this far, and they'll keep mattering. But there's a whole layer of the work - the actual process, not just the finished product - that a portfolio site isn't really built to show, and Instagram is.

If you want to follow along

I'm at @codebybibek - new account, so the early posts are doing a lot of the "here's who I am and what I actually do" groundwork before it settles into a regular rhythm. If you're curious what a project looks like from the inside, or you're building something yourself and want to see more of the work before reaching out, that's the place to watch.

This blog isn't going anywhere either. Different platform, same person, same standards.
