Testimonials

What clients actually say.

Not curated soundbites — the honest version, from people who've actually worked through a project start to finish.

Working with Bibek felt different from the start — he actually listened before writing a single line of code. The site he built captures exactly what we wanted people to feel before they even book a trip.

01
Deepak ThapaFounder, Camping Trek

What stood out was how fast he moved without cutting corners. Every update came with a clear explanation, and the admin panel he built has made managing bookings genuinely easier for our whole team.

02
Dominic HuxleyCo-Founder, HUX Exped

I've worked with developers before who disappear the moment the invoice is paid. Bibek has been the opposite — still responsive, still fixing small things, months after launch.

03
Silviya HuxleyOperations, HUX Exped

He took a rough idea I couldn't fully articulate and turned it into something that actually works the way I imagined. The communication throughout made the whole process painless.

04
Kripa BhattaBusiness Owner

Honest pricing, clear timelines, and a final product that didn't need a single follow-up bug fix. That's rarer than it should be in this industry.

About

The personbehind the code.

Bibek Basnet
Kathmandu, NepalHover to reveal

I'm Bibek — a full-stack engineer and UI/UX designer based in Kathmandu, building software for clients who need more than a template.

My work spans booking platforms, consulting sites, and e-commerce systems — always with the same approach: real architecture underneath, a design system that actually holds together, and a relationship that doesn't end at launch.

I got here the practical way — building, breaking, and rebuilding real projects rather than following a fixed curriculum. That's shaped how I work now: less theory, more shipped software that actually holds up under real users and real traffic.

Every project starts with a conversation, not a template. Nothing borrowed, nothing bolted on.

“Good software is invisible. You only notice it when it's missing.”

The Difference

Why work with me

01Zero Middlemen

You talk to me. Always.

Not a ticket. Not a bot. Not someone who'll forward your message to someone who'll forward it again.

When you reach out, I'm the one who answers — the same person who writes your code, makes your design decisions, and genuinely cares whether your product succeeds. No account managers sitting between you and the work. No three-day wait for a reply that says nothing. This directness changes everything.

The developer who answers you is the developer who builds for you.

02Honest Pricing

I charge you for the work.

No rent. No account managers. No inflated margins buried in a proposal you can't decode.

A typical agency charges $5,000 for a project that costs $500 in actual developer time. Being based in Nepal gives me a cost structure that lets me pass that efficiency directly to you — often 60 to 70% less than a Western agency, for the same level of work. You're not getting a discount. You're cutting out the waste.

60–70% less than agency rates. Not because I'm cheaper — because I'm leaner.

03Lifetime Support

I don't disappear after launch.

You've been ghosted before. A developer who was responsive every day goes completely silent the moment the invoice clears.

Every project I deliver comes with lifetime free maintenance. Not a 30-day grace period, not a paid retainer to negotiate. Bug fixes, security patches, content updates — all at zero cost, for as long as your project exists. A launch is day one of a relationship, not the end of a transaction.

Every project. Lifetime support. No asterisk, no fine print, no exceptions.

04100% Custom

Your project is built for you. Only you.

Templates are a shortcut your clients can feel, even if they can't name it — a flatness that whispers 'off the shelf.'

I have never used a page builder. I have never deployed a theme. I have never taken a previous project and reskinned it for a new client. Every line of code begins with a blank file and ends with something made specifically for your brand, your users, and your industry.

No two projects are ever the same. Because no two businesses are.

05Global Quality

Built from the roof of the world.

My roots in Nepal aren't a limitation. They're, quietly, your competitive advantage.

The Himalayas behind me, and an international client base in front of me. I understand global design standards and what makes a digital product feel credible anywhere. My pricing reflects Nepal's cost of living — my standards reflect every great piece of work I've studied, built, or been inspired by.

International clients. Built from Kathmandu.

06Real Partnership

We win when you win.

This isn't a transaction. It's the beginning of something that compounds over years.

Every business I've worked with has become a long-term relationship — not because of contracts or lock-in, but because I genuinely invest myself in your success. I celebrate when your numbers go up. I tell you honestly when an idea won't work, and suggest something better.

Your growth is my portfolio. Your success is my purpose.

Stack

Every tool,for every service.

From web and mobile to e-commerce, hosting, and long-term maintenance — the full toolkit behind all eight services I offer.

Frontend

Next.js

The framework behind every build.

App Router, server actions, and file-based routing power every web project I ship.

Frontend

React

Component architecture, always.

Every interface I build starts as composable components — reusable and easy to reason about at scale.

Frontend

TypeScript

Type safety, front to back.

Catching bugs at compile time instead of in production — used across the entire stack.

Frontend

Tailwind CSS

Utility-first, custom-tuned.

Fast to write, but never generic — every project gets its own design tokens layered on top.

Frontend

Vite

Fast builds for non-Next projects.

Used for lighter frontend apps and admin panels that don't need a full Next.js setup.

Frontend

Framer Motion

Micro-interactions and layout physics.

Hover states, page transitions, and layout animations that feel physical, not just fading in and out.

Frontend

GSAP

Scroll-driven choreography.

For anything scrubbed, pinned, or timed against scroll position — the engine behind every scrollytelling section.

Frontend

Redux / Zustand

State management, sized to the project.

Redux for larger apps with complex shared state, Zustand for lighter, faster-to-wire state needs.

Frontend

GraphQL

Flexible data fetching.

Used on projects where the frontend needs precise control over exactly what data it pulls.

FAQ

Questions, answered honestly.

The things clients actually ask before we start working together. If yours isn't here, just ask directly.

It depends entirely on scope — a simple business website starts from $350, while a full booking platform or enterprise system can run into the thousands. Every project gets a real quote after a short discovery call, not a guess pulled from a price list. Check the Services page for starting prices on each offering.

Most websites take 3–6 weeks. Mobile apps and full-stack platforms typically run 6–16 weeks depending on complexity. You'll get a realistic timeline before any work begins, and regular updates throughout — no disappearing for a month and reappearing with a surprise.

Yes — once a project is paid in full, ownership of the source code, design files, and assets transfers to you. Until final payment clears, the work remains mine, but there's never a scenario where you're locked out of something you've fully paid for.

Every project includes lifetime maintenance — bug fixes, security patches, and small updates, at zero additional cost, for as long as the project is in use. A launch is treated as day one of a relationship, not the finish line.

Yes — most current projects are for clients in New Zealand and beyond. Time zone differences are handled with async updates and scheduled calls when overlap allows. Being based in Kathmandu doesn't change how the work gets delivered.

Both, along with full-stack systems, e-commerce platforms, and UI/UX design. Most projects actually blend two or three of these rather than fitting neatly into one category — that's normal, and part of the initial conversation is figuring out the right combination for what you're building.

Most development projects include two rounds of revisions; UI/UX design projects include unlimited rounds within the agreed scope. Requests that go beyond the original brief — new features, extra pages, a different direction entirely — are scoped and quoted separately rather than silently expanding the project.

That's the normal starting point, not a problem. Every engagement begins with a discovery conversation specifically to turn a rough idea into a clear scope, timeline, and cost before any code gets written.

Directly — email, WhatsApp, or whatever works best for you. There's no account manager or support ticket queue standing between you and the person actually doing the work. Updates typically land every 2–3 days, or more often for larger projects.

Mainly Next.js, React, and TypeScript on the frontend, with PostgreSQL, Prisma, and Node.js on the backend — plus React Native for mobile. The full toolkit, organized by service, is on the Stack page. The right tool is chosen per project, not forced to fit a single stack.
